Preserve. Protect. Promote.

Edinboro Lakeside Association is a non-profit organization, originally created in 1948 to preserve, protect and promote Edinboro Lake and the community.

We currently have over 200 members who enjoy what Edinboro, Pennsylvania has to offer and proudly support our organization. We focus on beautifying the Edinboro lakeside area and getting the community involved. May through September is
our busy season as we hold outdoor concerts, water activities, fundraisers, and celebrations.

Tourist destination.
Standout community.

Edinboro Lake and our community is approximately 2 hours from each of the nearby major cities: Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Cleveland. Because of this accessibility, we enjoy an annual influx of families and Pennsylvania tourism during the summer months.

The year-long residents enjoy (or “tough out,” depending who you ask!) the colder seasons, ice skating and ice fishing on the lake.

We love our status as a “college town”: PennWest Edinboro University is one of the key anchors in our community. The Edinboro Borough has food and attractions for just about everyone, including ice cream, multiple family restaurants, nearby shopping centers, mini-golf and more.

Upcoming Events

Our organization puts on several annual events, including beach concerts, a 4th of July celebration, cottage tours, the “Witches Paddle,” and holiday celebrations.
